Our initiative

At Neighbourhood Watch Victoria, we aim to help you feel safer and more connected, wherever you live, work, learn or play.

So, we launched How Safe Is My Place, a program which helps you learn where your home might be vulnerable to crime and the simple, actionable steps you can take to feel safer.

We have created some fun, interactive tools and resources where you can learn more about security, get some simple and effective tips on how you can safeguard your home, protect your property, and help make your neighbourhood an even better place to live.

How Safe Is My Place is an initiative of Neighbourhood Watch Victoria, supported by RACV.

Are you looking for an added layer of security to safeguard your vehicle keys and steering wheel?

Our partner, CarGuard can help you guard against keyless entries to your vehicle as easy as putting your keys in a box or pouch. Due to popular demand for a physical anti-theft deterrent, they have introduced the ultimate combination of security, convenience, and simplicity: the CarGuard Cable Steering wheel Lock.

Keyless entry allows the driver to unlock and lock the car without physically using a key, often requiring just a touch on the door handle when the key fob is within a certain range. Similarly, keyless start systems allow the engine to be started with the push of a button, eliminating the need for inserting a key into the ignition.
