Safety Rating Scale
Completely Unsafe: I constantly worry that my car will be stolen or damaged. I don’t trust where I park it—even at home—and I feel uneasy every time I leave it unattended. I have no real security in place.
Very Unsafe: I often feel like my vehicle could be broken into at any time. Even with the doors locked, I don’t feel it’s safe. I try to park in different places just to feel a bit more secure.
Unsafe: I’ve taken some steps to protect my car, but I still don’t feel confident. I always check on it, and I avoid certain areas altogether. It’s stressful leaving it parked, even just for a short while.
Somewhat Unsafe: I feel okay during the day but get nervous at night or in certain areas. I always lock up and take my things out, but I’m not sure it’s enough. I still worry something could happen.
Neutral: I don’t feel particularly safe or unsafe. I know things can happen, but I don’t stress about it. I just do the basics—lock up, don’t leave valuables—and hope for the best.
Somewhat Safe: I generally feel like my vehicle is safe, especially in familiar places. I’ve got a few security features, and I pay attention to where I park. I still stay alert, but I’m not overly concerned.
Safe: I feel confident that my car is secure. I’ve taken the right precautions—like alarms or cameras—and I trust the places I usually park. It’s not something I worry about much.
Very Safe: I rarely think about vehicle safety because I’ve done everything I can. My car is usually parked somewhere secure, and I’ve got strong protection in place. I feel really at ease.
Extremely Safe: I feel my car is very well protected. I’ve never had an issue, and I feel completely confident wherever I leave it. My security setup gives me peace of mind.
Totally Safe: I don’t worry about my vehicle at all. I feel 100% safe, whether it’s parked at home, on the street, or somewhere new. It’s just not something I ever feel I need to think twice about.
